1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how NoLapse LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use BidGhost at BidGhost.app. We take privacy seriously. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

2. Information We Collect

Account information:

• Your name, business name, and business phone number
• Your email address
• Your cell phone number (used to forward client replies)
• Your timezone and notification preferences

Client information you provide:

• Client names, phone numbers, and email addresses you enter when creating quotes
• Quote amounts, dates, and descriptions
• Photos of quotes you upload for AI scanning

Payment information:

Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Usage and technical data:

• Log data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited
• Error and performance data collected by Sentry
• Analytics data collected by Google Analytics including page views and session duration
• SMS delivery status and reply logs

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the BidGhost service
• Send automated SMS and email follow-up messages to your clients on your behalf
• Forward client replies to your phone number
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send you notifications about quote activity
• Monitor and improve service performance and reliability
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information or your clients' information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.

4. SMS Messaging and Client Data

When you enter a client's phone number into BidGhost:

• You confirm that the client provided their number in connection with a quote request and consented to be contacted about it
• We send automated SMS reminders from a dedicated 10DLC registered number on your behalf
• Every message includes opt-out instructions ("Reply STOP to unsubscribe.")
• Opt-out requests are honored immediately and the number is added to a permanent opt-out list
• Client phone numbers and reply content are stored to maintain message logs and comply with TCPA recordkeeping requirements

5. AI Photo Processing

When you upload a photo of a quote, the image is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for text extraction. This processing extracts client name, phone number, amount, and date from the image. Images are not stored by Anthropic beyond what is required to process the request. We do not store uploaded images after extraction is complete.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with the following providers solely to operate the Service:

We do not sell data to any of these providers or any third party. Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and applicable data processing agreements.

7. Data Retention

• Active account data is retained while your account is active
• After account deletion, message logs and consent records are retained for a minimum of 4 years for TCPA compliance purposes
• Payment records are retained as required by law
• You may request deletion of your personal account data by emailing privacy@bidghost.app

8. Cookies and Analytics

BidGhost uses cookies and similar technologies for:

• Authentication (keeping you logged in)
• Analytics via Google Analytics (page views, session data, usage patterns)
• Error monitoring via Sentry

Google Analytics may collect your IP address and usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP
• Request a copy of your data

10. Children's Privacy

BidGhost is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls. No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you by email at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
